You are 100% C O R R E C T on your decision If they can't pay the deposit, they can't pay the balance either. Their emergency, lack of scheduling or demands is not mine. I will do what I can to make it happen. But they have to pay on my terms. Credit Cards...Useless since they can be stopped up to 18 months after the work is completed. Yes that is right...18 months after you did the work. My way of doing business might be harsh to some, but Im not chasing money to pay my bills

It is noon time here in NYC Thirteen years ago at this time our worlld changed 2,983 were murdered here. This included 343 NYC Firemen 23 NYC Police Officers and 37 NY NJ Port Authority Police Officers just doing their job. and all the innocent people who just went to another day at work Plus all the working people at the Pentagon and Shanksville Pa As you spend the day, be thankfull for your life here today. Yes they are the Scum of the Sign Industy...BUT............I have worked recently with......... ATLAS Signs.........................5 jobs and they paid deposits and the balance on time. So far, they are good for me ICON.....................................Gave them another chance after years of avoiding..Met them at Orlando and they promised payment on time. We did a job and their PO said 30 days full payment from install date. Waited 32 days and called them. At 40 days we told them I removed the the sign their customer was not happy. I got paid by Credit Card the next day in full. No more work for them, they are the same as before.

I really have no reply that can make any sense to this companies offer . Are they serious ? Are they even on this planet ? ....Even the ones who jumped over, crawled under the fence or swam here would say NO WAY. There will always be a sucker who will jump on this and think he made it big. Working for a major chain store.

Here it is.......A National Maintenance Company sent this to me......Their rates for doing work with them on a National Chain Trip Charge....................................$ 39.60 Check In Charge.............................$ 39.60 AND.....A whopping $ 55.20 per hour for 1 man and a 50 ft bucket truck Materials at 10% above cost......Their price sheet of course Check in and Check out is a must...the clock is running Lets say.............2 Hrs on site........$ 110.40 Plus the $ 39.60 Plus the $ 39.60 EQUALS..........$ 189.60 U N B E L I E V A B L E !!!

D E P O S I T S No deposit, No work At the very least, you got 50% of your money up front. Credit Cards ??? They can stop Credit Cards easier then bouncing checks. All they have to do is say they did not get the service they wanted. And you have to prove it to the Credit card company to try and get your money AND they have up to 1 1/2 years....18 months to stop payment on a credit card. Certified checks is the only answer for these scum

The other one we get is from the "Facilities maintanace companies " please go out and find out what the problem is and estimate it. Then we will issue a PO if it is acceptable. OR "We know you dont work for free, so give us your lowest price possible" ??? WTF They have a beter chance speaking with Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy

I was contacted by a national that said...... Paul, We will give you as much work as you can handel.........BUT we pay in 145 days. Really ? I know that wont happen. It is more like 180 plus. That is 6 months after the work is completed. Good Luck to them. Is it really that bad that complanies are willing to work for free ? We still have lots of Nationals paying in under 30 days. Some as soon as the job is completed.

We bought drill bits and saw blades from " Bad Dog " Tools. You see them at the sign shows. Drilling and cutting everything and anything. We have good luck with them and just returned a chipped saw blade. They replace any item FREE ..no questions asked. Baddogtools.com We have been using their tools for years and no issues

I thought the show was excellent. Lots of good displays, information and hand outs. The show was not crazy crowded. You were able to spend time with all the reps. Glantz party was great. Lots of nice toys. They had a 175 ft Ruthmann, for a bargain price of $ 825,000...a good starter truck

Who accepts NTP in your area ? Does the truck have to go back to the seller for warrantee work ? There was articles in here about the quality and warrantees of a few used truck dealers...look them up -

Sean You are correct..... Yes It is a race to the bottom line. Buy ONE sign and get TWO Free. Its all about the dollar...nothing else I was recently in Turks & Cacos and Aruba...The shit LED Signs are there too. Off the boat and on the wall.

Baker was a body builder out of richmond Va. who sold Versa Lift and Aichi. The Aichi was a Japanese Made boom, and very good unit. The boom you are talking about was an Aichi Model that went to 60 ft and had the auger attacment. The Japanese used Mitsubuhi and Isuzu.( GMC cab overs) trucks I think Aichi has an office in Glen Berne Md.

WOW I make and install signs. Period. That leaves me very little time to eat lunch and go to the bathroom. BUT.......Kendal can do it all, design and build trucks too. Congratulations. Looking at the pricing of Kendals trucks, you are within 15% of the big three. Why would anyone even think about buying yours ?. Why would you even think of building them ? You are a signman, but you want to build the "Wonder Truck" Best wishes Manitex and Elliot do not build signs. but they could. Way to much bullshit and pipe dreams to continue this. The real truth is known, but has not been told yet.
