I would remove the signs and switch them. if you break up the concrete you may have to go through the inspection process and removal of old concrete and new concrete yada, yada, yada. Cut the signs free from the pole and switch them. Your in and out in a few hours.

I will check on the CFL coating for ya, we do not do any here. We only manufacture 10ft HO lamps. No, it can not stand up to bending temperatures. We have done a lot of testing with it here with poor results.

flourescent lamps use a binder coat of Alon-C which prohibits the consumption of mercury by the phosphor. This is how they can use minimal amounts of mercury.

Many moons ago my friends and I would rent a house boat for a week on the St. Lawrence river between Canada and NY. I agree, Have you asked your distributor for other neon shops in the area. The guy I bought my first plant off is a cop by day and glass slinger at night. He is rite in West Palm Beach / Jupiter area. I think the shop he does work for is American Signs. Maybe John from Ventex can help? He is based in W. P. beach. Hope this helps
