:wootsmiley: Got the grill going and the spa heaten up! :D

Any good marinating recipies for future use?

I usually just marinated the Sirloins in beer, teriyaki sauce, pepper & season salt

Marinate in a plastic bag with Seven Seas Viva Italian dressing for a few hours. Brush some on while they are grilling too. You will be telling all your friends about your new "secret recipe".

My favorite "Grilling recipe" from the "Big Damn Book of Sheer Manliness" by the Hoffman Brothers.

Macon's Politically Incorrect Salt Steak.

Ingredients:

1 Large Sirloin Steak 1 1/2 - 2 inches thick

6 sheets of newspaper

1 large bowl of kosher rock salt

2 jars of lawry's lemon peper

1 jar of whole pepper corns

1 bottle of worcestershire sauce

1 jar of grey poupon mustard

1 roll of masking tape

10 lb bag of charcoal

1 giant bucket of water.

Start... Drink a adult beverage and

Lay your fire 6 inches thick at minimum. (make sure the grill is off)

Replinish beverage and mix spices.. (salt, pepper corns, leomon pepper) in a big bowl.

Law the 6 sheets of newspaper open and plunk the steak down in the middle of it. Open the jar of mustard and slather 1 side of the meat with 1/4th and inch layer of mustard. (Make sure people watch you prepare this for best effect).

Now grab several handfulls of spices and plaster it into the mustard. Enough spice that no mustard gets on your hand when tapping it, then dump worcestershire on it to color the whole thing brown. Carefully turn the steak over and repeat process on opposite side.

When done wrap it up in the paper, secure it with the masking tape (use as little tape as possible) once secure dump the package into the bucket of water.Replinish drink.

Let it soak until your fire is fully engaged... (almost hot enough to melt the grill) Then take out the package, squeeze out the excess water and throw directly onto the coals. (Pray to the charcoal gods that your fire does not go out from this). Allow about 10 minutes per side (the paper should be smoldering and close to catching fire). Rescue the package from the fire and using your now empty water bucket scrape the paper mustard and spices off the meat. Your steak should looks sickly white.

Put the grill back on above the coals and brown the steak for 3 to 5 minutes per side until it looks like beef again. Slice into 1/4 an inch strips and serve.

The steam from the newspaper will marinate the meat with the flavor of the spices and mustard while leaving the original juices in the meat as well.

Enjoy and remember not to overcook your meat or else it turns into jerky.

    • Hey everyone, I wanted to share some insights I recently explored about how digital signage is transforming communication within hospitals and healthcare environments. Whether it's patient experience, internal messaging, or emergency alerts — digital displays are making a huge impact. Here are 6 key benefits I discovered: ✅ 1. Reduced Perceived Wait Times Waiting in hospitals can be stressful. Digital signage helps by displaying health tips, entertainment, or wait time updates to ease patient anxiety and improve their experience. ✅ 2. Real-Time Emergency Alerts In urgent situations, hospitals can use digital screens to instantly broadcast important alerts or emergency codes across departments — faster and more effectively than overhead systems. ✅ 3. Improved Staff Communication From shift updates to meeting reminders, internal digital boards streamline communication and reduce confusion among staff, especially in larger facilities. ✅ 4. Wayfinding Made Easy Navigating hospitals can be confusing. Interactive digital maps and directional signs help visitors and patients get to their destination without constantly asking for help. ✅ 5. Promoting Health Campaigns Hospitals can use signage to promote wellness programs, flu shot campaigns, or COVID updates — all in a visually engaging way that captures attention. ✅ 6. Better Patient Engagement Screens in waiting areas or patient rooms can be used for educational videos, treatment FAQs, or even personalized messages — creating a more informed and connected patient experience. I wrote a full article diving deeper into each of these, if anyone wants to read more: https://www.wipath.com/top-6-advantages-of-using-digital-signs-in-hospitals/ Would love to hear your thoughts — are you seeing digital signage being used effectively in your hospitals or clinics? Cheers!
