I recieved several service calls from this company within one week. Usally an indication of something going wrong with the sign company they are now using.

Has anyone worked with Empire Facilities Management Group, Bohemia NY or Facilities Solutions Group,National Accounts, Dallas Texas

okay..... both decent size companies. Both are very strong in retail. Both are fair to work with. FSG is doing more business than Empire. If you're in Brooklyn they're likely calling you for union work.... or trying to get a local familiar enough with the lay of the local land without running into problems with the unions. FSG has been known to buyout successful companies or companies where they see an advantage having them as a division rather than a sub-contractor.

FYI FSG owns STI as well as a lot of other companies which are under their umbrella.

What typically is happening when more than one is calling you they have hit some sort of problem with whom they usually use. It could very well be a sub of thiers messed up pretty bad and now they are looking to clean up thier mess and the second company is looking to pick up the account knowing of the blunder of the other one.

Does that make sense? There's no loyalty in thier game and its a great deal of work to keep customers.

I've worked with FSG - good company - solid base.

I thought Empire Facilities had gone out of biz. Guess I was wrong. What company is calling you?

    • Yes, that happens.   With these corporations, someone new gets in the purchasing department and they go with whoever is 10 cents cheaper.
    • Maybe you can get the installation part of it.  Again they are all about the bottom dollar and want to know your hourly rate.  Then they decide what is being installed and how long it should take you to do it . They were great customers and we did a lot of business with them, Management changes and different ideas and values are now in place
    • Thanks Paul   I don't really expect to get this job becasue i'm probably too high.   i quoted it to the property owner but we'll see what happens.   Rocco
    • We used to build CubeSmart Signs and Install them as a total package Then They wanted everything broken down specifically to the dollar. At this time. it s all priced based and its open sign season to everyone
