Ken's strappin the gloves on in his corner for this UFC bout. About time, I think it's the frustrations of the Rag Mag's it looks like recently. Anyone notice a slight change as of late? Look at you Ken!

Such a short piece you wrote, I'm sure everyone would be all ears and eyes if you elaborated more and told everyone what you really think. I'm no big fan or merging associations myself and I've expressed that many a times. There needs to be competition. Ever notice that all the board members are the same 'ol same 'ol? It's the same damn people and same ol faces just recycled and refurbished from within/or exported to another association.

Let's face it, conventions and associations are business's just like any other, their here to turn a profit. Nothing wrong with that, they do a lot of good, but they also have a very bad influence as well. IMO, it's time to clean house just like our own Senate and house. IMO, a closer look needs to be payed to the ones who are "employed" by the associations. Do you know how long they have been there?

But let's not fall too far off the scope of things, NBM also holds a convention of their own and they are also feeling the shrinking exhibitors just like ISA felt their 20% loss.

Maybe someone will chime in their thoughts about a recent sign association meeting that they attended. lol, maybe not.

Hopefully Mary Tohill will cut the puppet strings, and "real" articles can get written up. But you better hurry, that bus train just might be boarding somewhere else.
