I'll choose just one, and it's none of the above. I'll take, "Integrity" for $100

Because, a client wants to be able to trust their vendor, and a vendor should have a good sense of "ethics", "principles", in how they market and a solid "outcome" after they "perform"

I like "Integrity" because it encompasses the "quality... price.... service" aspects of our business. Integrity is why we have repeat customers that don't even ask for a price for new jobs because they know we'll do a good job at a fair price.

These are the sign companies the sign users should be weary of, and sign associations should be worried to have as their board members heading their advice or vote.

These are the "Fools", the "Fool" is the person who tries to stuff a square peg into a round hole, though it cannot be done and fool will stand there for hours and days trying, he will still continue to state to all that he is doing it, even though our eyes and intelligence know the opposite. We can point this out to the fool, even question him, but he will tell you it can be done, and very easily, and "efficiently".

In a leadership position, the fool is dangerous, creating more mindless fools who only repeat what the "fool" is doing.

The "Fool", just needs some odor eaters dropped in his shoes to take away his dirty foot print, but then, he himself might disappear too.

With a booming voice from above, steam and gas shoots from the trap, the "Magic Mouth" speaks...

"Has anyone visited the Neon Boneyard near Las Vegas? Many treasures behold you for your visit!

Thanks to the likes of Magic Mouth and Trade Magazine editors to publish unchecked facts of mis-characterized, misleading, misinformation on generalizing LEDs as the wonder product for everything. The Magic Mouth still continues to spout out his gas trap on is twisted thinking, his version of "Forward" thinking, telling, misleading the general public and potential clients that he can save them 80% in annual energy saving and short term ROI that can be made up in a couple of years.

So Magic Mouth drools at the site of seeing more Neon Graveyards, he and the Magazine after all help/contribute to them. Still waiting to see his patented marshmallow cookers. Probably more Chinese junk, a place where mercury is vaporized into the atmosphere over there, and sold as clean and green for the environment here. :gay:

Then you might lead him to believe he's found the industries missing link, then we'll have to hear him gas about it, I mean, blog about it.

But fat chance for next month' issue, you see, it's National Safety Month, and in some areas it's National Torture Awareness Month, so we'll be waterboarded with additional thoughts & ideology coming from the Community Organizer and the Fringe ISA tree/sign hugger board members which includes Magic Mouth himself.

That yet another Graveyard has been opened and how wonderful it is (even more wonderful if they take the time to plug in some of those 75 year old signs and be amazed they still work)that everyone's front lawn is greener now & you don't have to worry about fluorescent lamps breaking over little babies mouths swallowing mercury, or "rogue neon makers pouring hazards down their sinks", along with "that newer technology" is around now and that it saves us 90%

You see the standard just got moved up according to last months issue of SOT from Magic Mouths 80%, who just got dethroned.

The Magic Mouth isn't speaking this time, he's doing. He's selling his house, moving and risking it all....even hanging his ***** out to the wind to create a grand arteestic new venture in an old dungeon. Well, let's all see if he's successful and hope the Magic Mouth isn't homeless at his own risk. But at least he's using his own money this time, let's see if the mouth has something behind it, no marketing statements will help him with this, it's do with your own two hands.

"CHEEese....Astronauts....not economically feasible....PULL OUT!! "

The Magic Mouth has pulled out, that maybe a better thing if taken literally! When it comes time to writing your own check that comes out of your own wallet and there is no state rebate or subsidy to assist and there is no none to fool but yourself, maybe you do realize that it's not economically feasible because there is no one to sell bullshit marketing statements to but yourself.

    • I didn't take the job.   And before I did anything for a company like them, I'd have to set up an ach block.   Otherwise, per my banker, it's possible that they can do a reverse ACH.   My bankers has been after me to set that up, though there is a monthly fee.   sigh, there's a monthly fee to just about anything with banks.   Paul, keeping busy i hope?    Rocco
    • Take the Money 1st. ACH the money. Then do the job.  *** Credit Cards can be cancelled up to 18 months ***
    • Wow, you will have to root through "their" protections.
    • A national sign company that I've dealt with for at least twenty-five years wants us to sign their vendor packet again this year.   At first it was a few pages but grew over time.   Last year it was fifteen pages.   Now it's twenty-two pages., plus a three page NDA.   I will have someone look it over and give me their opinion but it's getting ridiculous.    Their paperwork pusher will say that its' all "standard things" but standard for who and in whose favor?   Even if they gave me a ton of work, and it's only been one or two jobs a year recently, I'd be hesitant.   if i didn't know someone that does contacts for a living, I'd have to pay an attorney to go over this packet.    This is a national that has a good rep but it's getting to the point that we all need an attorney on hand at all times to go over paperwork.    Rant over.
    • This is the late April 2026 Update   This month we added in: GE's TX GEN4 12v .9w 6500K LED Module     G2G's WOW II Red 12V .72W     Also Including the GWH IV Snap Shot of the Project which is also included in the April Evaluation PDF Sheet.   The most important thing to take notice i2 the FC / Watt (Foot Candles per Watt).    This is the LED Chip Quality and Efficiency, this is the amount of Light Per Power.  The bigger the number the more efficient that Light Source is.  You might see a Higher Wattage LED Module with a low FC/Watt value, that means it's not too efficient....could even be pushed and in some cases over driven running hot, which can result in shorter life.   I'm going to drop an example to put things in perspective. Let's take two 2LED Modules...the Brighton - II, and the EveryLite Rebel LED Module.   The Brighton II is .8 watts, the EveryLite Rebel is almost a 1 watt Module at .96w   The 362 Foot Candle average EveryLiteRebel is brighter than the B-II Module at 348.5 FC AVG.  However the B-II Module has a 108.91 Foot Candle Per Watt Average.    So if we were to boost the Module Power of the Brighton - II and make it say, a .84w module instead of a .8w module then we can project the Brighton II Module with Foot Candle per Watt of 108.91 to have a Foot Candle Average of 365.93.   The .84w Brighton - II Module would be brighter, under driven, and more efficient than the .96w EveryLite Rebel.   Now the Flip Side...   If we made the .96w EveryLite Module to a .8w Module apples to apples to the Brighton - II Module, we can project the Foot Candle of the .8watt EveryLite Module would be 301.66 instead of the 362 FC Average.  You can see the Handicap here   So Boosting the power of so-so chips will give you more light for the "Wow" factor, but in some case is over driving, there is more heat involved....and like all electronics...they hate and fail with heat.  This is why a lot of LED MFG's recently make a 2 LED almost 1 watt Module and sell for $40 a bag....   Just something to take note of.....          On another Note, I will be taking down the TBA Vendor as the light is too low, and the Principal / Sloan Prism Module as it is dated   April's 2026 GWH IV Sheet GreatWhiteHope IV 042826 WOA.pdf
