my daugher said our whole house was shaking for a couple of minutes in the Tonawanda, N.Y. area, but we didn't feel anything in Buffalo

Heard from a friend in Terra Alta, WV they felt it as well.

I must have been working in the basket on a job because I never felt it. Everyone back at the shop did though

did not know what it was at first but it was neat.

never experienced that before.

over here the deeper the building was in the ground the better you felt the quake

In Toronto Canada I felt a slight wobble, I actual thought I was getting dehydrated and a start to getting dizzy, more like being on a boat, went to grab some water then got a news alert.

It was apparently felt in our shop yesterday - we're not far from Rocco/Signworksinc - except I was in Vancouver when it happened. They get quakes a little more often out there and they were making fun of all the East Coasters on the radio.

It was utter devastation downtown, though - see photo evidence below:

So we had a tornado touch down a few days ago, then the earthquake, then last night this:

It went on for 3 or 4 hours here in southern Ontario parts of the US Midwest. It was a light show like I've never seen - seeing videos of the lightning strikes on the CN Tower alone is worth watching the vids.

We had a lighting storm like that one, Marko. Several years ago, but my hubby called it "wrath of God stuff". There wasn't a 5 minute period where the sky wasn't lit up. That's the first time I ever heard the lighting (the actual bolt itself). Wild weather!
