Sign Guy, you have a couple emoticons I, as a computer nexttoilliterate, don't understand. One is :0wn3d: . I imagine this is supposed to be a funny way of spelling 'owned' (ayuk, ayuk, ayuk), but I still don't get it, which means I'll never be able to use it unless I know what it means. And I can't laugh at Sign God because he uses it more than anybody. The other is :ash: . The explanation for this one is 'ash'. Does it spell 'fiiiiiight' (this old man can't read it). And if it does, :wtf: does it mean and :wtf: does 'ash' mean? I hate not being able to decipher what I'm reading. Anybody else want to explain this, please feel free to, especially since Sign Guy is away on a boat trip. TIA!

Thanks for the info, Sign Guy. My almost 60 year old eyes thought :ash: was spelled 'fight". I get it now. I asked my genX daughter about the 'owned' and she'd never heard the term either. Must be a West Coast thing which hasn't made it to Kaintuck yet.

BTW, I know what :wtf: means.

the "owned" thing has been more of a gamer term but since it has now transitioned into "pwnd", "pwnt", and now lately "pzzzwnt" :D . You'll see it more on gamer forums but it's all over the US and Canada

      We always see a lot of conversation about how "Safe" LEDs are because they are "Low Voltage".    That is not true.   A lot of times it can just take a little bit of moisture getting inside of a module casing.   So NO, LED Module are not SAFE or DUMMY PROOF just because they are low voltage.
