Protective Case

Recommended Posts

I bought one of these for my interior sign samples built with wheels and their built like a tank. I just picked this one up yesterday for my electrical testing equipment. Time after time of getting bashed around inside my toolbox I finally got a dedicated case for them. At fry's Electronics and similar stores this retails at $145.00, at http://www.cases4less.com/ it retails for $65.00 and this company happens to be 15 minutes from me so I just ordered and picked up. You can submerge in in water and it's completely water proof

"Originally designed for and currently used in numerous abusive applications by the U.S. Armed Forces and NATO, Pelican Cases provide no-nonsense hard knocks protection coverage for on-the-job situations, regardless of the hazards of transportation, handling and site conditions."

Anyway I find them very useful, I have both the 1660 and 1450

This may not belong here ( and feel free to move it if you wish) but do you also have some type of case for routerd sign samples that you can take to show potential customers? I would like to come up with such a thing once the router is up and running. Not to steal your ideas but a pic might give me a idea.

THat's what I use the 1660 for. It has samples of lettering and interior signage. It has multiple layers of pluckable foam for easy storing. To top it off, the case makes for a nice presentation alone just to pull the smaples out of. I'll take a pic and post

Nothing to steal here it's all fair game whatever's in this forum. That's what it's for, sharing ideas. Here is what I use. I'm also building a mobile channel letter case to show different types, colors, neon colors etc. It's something I've always had in the works but just now finally doing something about it. Anyway here's what I did for my dimensional stuff.

This is the 1660 case with retractable handle and wheels. I carry some of my electric sign stuff at the bottom which you cannot see
