We used it about a month ago to set some threaded rod in concrete for a very heavy BMW monument sign, not a situation like you're describing. So I can't tell you if it's going to work for you, unless you're stud mounting. If you are, this is the stuff to use for a very permanent installation. Here's what I learned about it. It sets hard as a rock in about an hour. It was a cold day the day we used it and we ended up cutting the ends off the tubes, dishing out the two parts and mixing by hand. We had 8 - 1" holes we had to fill and it would've taken all day just to fill the holes using the gun. The stuff came with the signs, so we may have just gotten bad tubes.

I do it in the transformer box.

Yeah! Stud mount but some one has been using a bolt cutters to get the brass off the wall :nonono2: . The wall is curved brick so the letters will never be flush against the wall. Others have used liquid nail & silicone but the letters just come off the wall with greatest of ease. I want these things stuck on there until they take the wall down! :jackhammer:
