Just when things going smoothly crane decides it needs new stem bearings installed. Called Radocy and The Crane Center to get prices looks like around 5,000 to 6,000. ain't life grand. If not for equipment failure I would prob be a millionaire by now!!! :wtf:

First turbo charger was under warranty. Second one 6500.00. Automatic transmission went out just before warranty expired. Mechanic said it was 9000.00 without warranty. Router lub mister, 750.00.

So, I sold the trucks and do wholesale only now. Still have to worry about the router, welders, Accu-Bend ect...

Like Rosanna-Rosanna-Dana said "it just goes to show you, it's always sonthin". If you don't get that, you're too young.

I like all my shop guys but dayuum the could break a anvil.

We had a used Freightliner under our Wilkie ladder for our service truck, and when it was time (transmission was shot) we got a brand spankin' new Ford F650 diesel. Had the wilkie put on it by professionals, got the outriggers set up, etc etc. Less than 60,000 miles later, we've been thru three fuel pumps; coolant system issues; leaking issues and today one of the seals for the power steering went out. Oh joy...
