Welcome.....MET Laboratories..... Alternative to U.L.

I wanted to give a big welcome to our newest Board Vendor Greg Smith of MET Laboratories.....Any custom electrical shop looking to make a switch out of UL should give MET a serious thought.......Right now is the time one should starting thinking about it before January kicks in and you get the new UL annual Invoice for 2011...There are a lot of changes coming up with UL and the electric sign industry should be glad to see an alternative make a serious effort to come to the forefront......It's good to start seeing some competition in the market for listing electric signs.........

Project Facilities - Fluorescent & LED Fixture Retorfit Test, ROI

IThis is a Comparison for 2 lamp 4' T-Bar Fluorescent lamp fixtures. The standard for this project is a T12 lamp on a magnetic ballast. We will be looking at comparing different size Fluorescent lamps as well as various LED systems for retrofitting....

Wholesale to the public

We have a corporate client that we have worked with for over 15 years, and on occasion they are required to get other quotes just to see if they are being charged a fair price. Recently they contacted a sign company (part of this companies name is “Wholesale Signs”) and on their website they state “Wholesale to the trade – Not your competition” for a quote. The quote they received was $7.25 per upright inch with double stroke Sloan LED. We are a fully automated retail sign manufacturer and wholesale to some of the local sign shops here, but wholesale to the public, never!.......
