Can LEDs make you thinner???

While everyone may say they need to lose a kg from time to time I think we can all agree that being thinner is not always better. Sometimes focusing too much on losing weight can lead to some rather unhealthy behaviors and subsequently adverse effects. Believe it or not we are going to connect LED lighting to weight loss and possibly weight gain. Now we would love to tell all of you that eating or using KiwiLED lighting would assist everyone in losing a massive amount of kilograms – well you guessed – that is just not the case. The purpose of this article is to explain that thinner signs may not always be better. We are also here to tell you that LEDs are NOT perfect for ALL lighting applications – especially extremely thin or low profile signage. Making signs thinner requires a sign company to use more LEDs tightly packed together – this causes LEDs to run hotter and shorten their lifetime and begin to fade. This fading will make a sign start “spotting” and that is not very fashionable.

LED lighting is changing the world of signage but if used improperly its usage may be very short lived…similar to some fashions like bell bottom pants!
