anyone have experience with the international dt365 engine? from what i gather it is the detuned navistar 6.0 that is put in the fords with a different pcm. I found the truck I want in Michigan only downside is the motor

6.0 motor sucks. I have one in my F350. It runs good, but plan on spending 4-6k every couple years keeping it running. This is my personal vehicle I don't rag out. It only has 140k on it. It was OK when it was in warranty, and Ford paid the repair bill.

The International DT 4 6 6 Is the only motoer to get. It is a proven powerhouse that runs forever. It will pull down a house and then do 75 mph easy. Add the Allison Automatic and you will love it.

The 444 motor is a get out and push All of the V8's suck Dont waste your time on them

Michigan ? Buy a truck from the south or the midwest. No snow, No salt or corroision.
