NO LED Channel Letters

I don't believe it, and where we find ourselves.

I'm trying to change minds of a PM so they will allow me to install a couple of sets of LED channel letters in a shopping center that only allows neon for illumination. This location screams out LEDs because of the installation. It's a remote tranny job where all flex loops from letter to letter rest on a metal ibeam. When I removed the old sign, the two home runs were 8'+ away from the first letter because of a huge i-beam that rests against the wall and each home run was full of that chalky dust from the insulation, the GTO was tatted up all around from trying to find ground.

I can't believe we live in an age where I'm having to beg for an LED installation of channel letters

What's next? The Community Organizer, Magic Mouth and myself having a beer together at ISA?

The Property Manager is only reading the Rules and applying them in order to preserve uniformity in the shopping center's signs. The important thing is the look and since those rules were put obviously before LED lights were known then it might take a demonstration to prove that LED lit channel letters could look the same as Neon lit ones.
