Twin's Stadium / Target Field Sign Failures

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what LED products were used for the Minnesota Twin's / Target Field Signs? I've heard they are/have been failing pretty bad. From my understanding these signs were fabricated by AGI.

Tivoli, out of Tustin CA?

Oh no, ISA's going to be pissed when their new office renovation accent/halo lighting starts to take a dump! :vio (33):

Maybe they should have used a little more CCFL instead of the one desk and hopefully the company they bought it from gave them a 5 year "worry free electrical" warranty.

Well of course its "worry free" if you just turn it off cuz it isn't working!

The punch line would be if they were sold on marketing pitches on short term ROI compared to other light sources like CCFL and other LED products, all to find out that their lighting might be taking a inconsistent dump soon, and then to find out that the "retrofit" of another product to their existing means that ROI just got pushed out to 20+ years :P

Well, ISA just might have gotten stung if the ballpark is consistent with other products. If it is, welcome to the real world ISA! :fnd (8): Now go report on the "Re-Retrofit, round 2" CITGO SIGN on your next "ISA Brief!"

Would be interesting to see a pic of the signs.

LukOil stadium in Indianapolis used over 1300 lbs of 18mm EGL Accuwall Ruby and over 600 lbs of EGL CL35 for their signage a few years ago and looks great

GOOD things happen for a reason......
